Mercury Video

Mercury Video was developed in Fall of 2016 and founded officially in the Fall of 2017 at Virginia Commonwealth University through the campus's Student Media Center, host to campus publications, radio and more.

With her co-founder, Catalina developed over 10 videos while with Mercury Video and has had cumulatively more than 100 members in the organization.

Catalina worked as General Manager (President) of Mercury Video and hosted a 48 hour short film festival, two political discussions, and several seminars on film production, developing tools and resources for beginners in videography.

Mercury Video was cut short by the unexpected shutdowns of Spring 2020, and will no longer continue in the coming years.
