VCU's Robertson School of Media and Culture has a rigorous capstone course for its senior students majoring in Mass Communications with a focus in Public Relations.

After a resounding success with the Chesterfield Country Police Department in Spring 2019, Henrico County Police Department (HCPD) asked to have the Robertson's Capstone class conduct a communications audit and create a plan of action for increased social media presence for the goal of a higher percentage of applicants for both Police Officers and Communications Officers.

The classroom was split into 2 groups, and Catalina Currier was the Team Leader for the Galactic Agency.

The Galactic Agency conducted secondary research and then went out into the field with current officers for primary research, developing a Communications Audit, SWOT Analysis, Communications Plan, and Tactical Prototypes for HCPD.

A live presentation was held at the end of the course with the Outreach and Hiring Team and the response from HCPD and visiting professors was a resounding positive.
